VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi Football Club has been transferred to Quang Huy Plastics Company just several weeks before the national football leagues start next month.
The team, who were the First Division runners-up, previously belonged to T&T Sports Joint-stock Company, which also owns V-League runners-up T&T Ha Noi.
T&T chairman Nguyen Quoc Hoi said that basically the transfer process had been completed.
“Ha Noi-based Quang Huy Company will receive all coaching board members and players,” he said. “And they will manage the team when they play in the First Division this season."
The Ha Noi-based Quang Huy Company is owned by chairman Nguyen Quang Huy. The company mainly works in the minerals and metal materials industries. Huy and his company have not been involved in sports previously.
Reports indicated the name of the team would remain unchanged.
The First Division will be kicked off on March 9, one week after the start of the V-League.
