Like other small islets in Nha Trang Bay, Hon Noi, aside from the charming Doi Beach, is home to swiftlet birds. These small islets have nearly no green trees and grass.
From Cau Da port in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, tourists can take a two-hour-long boat ride to Hon Noi. As a company manages the islet, tourists have to book a company tour of the islet.
Hon Noi is actually a group of islets. Doi Beach is at the foot of the Du Ha Mountain on one of the islets. The mountain stands at 100 meters above sea level.
Doi Beach is a very special beach, as it has a white sandbank in an arch shape. Due to the arch sandbank, the beach is surrounded by the blue sea on both sides. One side overlooks the blue ocean, and the other side has a natural swimming pool. The most interesting part about the naturally-created pool is that at a depth of more than one meter, tourists can see coral reefs and many sea creatures.
After enjoying the cool seawater of the pool, tourists can explore some caves where swiftlet birds live or challenge themselves to climb the Du Ha Mountain, from where they can admire a panoramic view of Hon Noi.
Tourists are not allowed to stay overnight on the islet. Although the tour is short, it is enough for tourists to enjoy the unique Doi Beach.
