VietNamNet Bridge – The sixth round of national motor racing championship for 125-135cc engines opened in Binh Duong on August 10, attracting 96 professional and semi-professional motorcyclists from 30 clubs nationwide.

In the qualifying round, every four athletes will race 8 laps around the stadium to knock out each other to select two winners to the following rounds.

This year, motorcyclists are required to wear helmets, shoes, gloves and protective clothing.

The organising board has bought insurance for motorcyclists with a minimum compensation of VND20 million.

Total prizes will be worth up to VND120 million. In each of the 125cc and 135cc categories, the winner will be awarded VND15 million, and the two runners-up will be given VND10 million and VND8 million, respectively.

The event, co-organized by the Vietnam Cycling Federation (VCF) and Binh Duong’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is within the competition system of the VCF with 10 such tournaments taking place annually across the country.
