The national team will have three matches in the 2022 World Cup second qualification round in March and June. They will also defend their title at the AFF Suzuki Cup in December.
The matches, which are sponsored by Acecook Vietnam, are tests for the younger side. They will compete in the AFC U23 Championship qualifiers in October and the 31st SEA Games in November.
The first friendly will be on December 23 at Cam Pha Stadium in Quang Ninh Province. The second is four days later at Viet Tri Stadium in Phu Tho Province.
Tickets cost from VND50,000-150,000 (US$2.2-6.6), with all the proceeds from ticketing to be donated to people in the central and Central Highlands provinces which suffered from recent floods.

Vietnam’s national team convene for first gathering in 2020
The Vietnamese national team gathered at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre on December 6 for their first training camp in 2020 towards the remaining campaign of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in 2021.
