The tournament is part of the challenge system of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

Eighteen-year-old Nam and Nagal had jointly won the Wimbledon boy's doubles title.

The Viet Nam Tennis Federation's general secretary Nguyen Quoc Ky said Nam has been awarded two wild cards to compete in the main round of the boys' singles and doubles categories in the event, which will have a total prize of US$50,000.

Nam who sits 1,310th in the world is expected to jump higher in the world ranking next week as he had reached the semi-final round of the Egypt F27 Futures tennis tournament.
