The police department of Vinh City, Nghe An, announced at noon today that the driver involved in the incident where a naked woman fell from a moving car will be fined between $160 and $240.
According to Vinh City Police, both individuals in the vehicle were summoned for questioning, and neither had any involvement with drugs.
Authorities identified the driver of the Hyundai i10 as B.M.T, born in 1980, residing in Trung Do Ward, Vinh City.
The police have issued an administrative violation report against T. for "opening or failing to properly secure a car door," which led to the incident. This violation carries a fine of $160-$240 but does not result in a license suspension.
Earlier, on the evening of February 4, a two-minute video went viral on social media, showing a car with license plate 37A-35xxx moving through Vinh City when its door suddenly swung open, causing a naked woman to fall onto the road.
According to officials from Quang Trung Ward, the incident occurred on Hong Bang Street in Quang Trung Ward.
The woman in the video was identified as N.T.N, born in 1980 and a resident of Quang Trung Ward. Authorities confirmed that she fell from the vehicle due to alcohol consumption, which led to psychological instability.
