The sponsorship contract was signed in Ha Noi on Wednesday between the brand and the National Sports Administration.
The brand will present 1,000 gifts totalling VND128 million ($6,000) to athletes during training sessions for the Games. MyVita will also give the best Vietnamese athlete on each day of competition a VND15 million (US$700) reward.
Besides, it will also award bonuses to the top three overall performers at the event, the first gold medallist, best young athlete and best male footballer.
The Deputy Chief of the National Sports Administration, Tran Duc Phan applauded the brand's sponsorship at the signing ceremony, saying the practical incentives would encourage the athletes to aim for high achievements at the Games.
