They have been trained in screening, diagnosis and prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic to help health workers and residents in Binh Xuyen District, which is the hotspot of COVID-19, improve its ability to prevent and fight the disease.
They will work round-the-clock from February 13, assisting in zoning off high-risk areas and environmental hygiene, as well as medical treatment.
On Thursday, the province had confirmed 11 cases, including nine in Binh Xuyen District.
From February 13, the province has zoned off and quarantined affected areas in Son Loi Commune, Binh Xuyen District, for 20 days.
Eight stations will be set up on roads to and from Son Loi Commune to prevent the virus from spreading. — VNS
