Acclaimed pianist and piano professor Boris Kraljevic will perform in the concert ‘Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5’ of the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) at the HCMC Opera House at 8 p.m. on August 9.
The concert will entertain audiences with famous symphonies of Beethoven under the baton of conductor Le Phi Phi. The concert will also feature talents of pianist Le Ho Hai and many artists of HBSO.
Montenegro national Kraljevic completed his graduate and postgraduate studies at the State Conservatory Tchaikovsky in Moscow, Russia, in the class of Professor Lev Naumov. During his education, he thrice won first prize in national piano competitions held in the former Yugoslavia. He has had performances in numerous countries in Europe, Americas, Africa and Asia, where he performed recitals and piano concerts with symphony and chamber orchestras in famous concert halls.
Boris Kraljevic is piano professor at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore and visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. His students have also won piano competitions held in many countries.
He has also conducted classes in music academies and conservatoires worldwide and is often adjudicator on prestigious international piano competitions.
He is artistic director of the International Festival Days of Music in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, honorary member of the presidium of the International Festival Pontes in the Czech Republic and member of the board of directors of Chopin Society Singapore.
