
Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has been assigned to oversee the press, broadcasting, and digital media sectors as part of the ministry’s leadership restructuring.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung recently signed a decision outlining the distribution of responsibilities among the ministry’s leadership.
Under the new structure, Minister Nguyen Van Hung will continue to oversee the ministry’s overall operations, with direct responsibility for strategic planning, cultural, sports, and tourism development, press affairs, party-building efforts, internal political security, anti-corruption measures, and financial efficiency.
The minister will also directly supervise key departments, including the Personnel Organization Department, the Planning and Finance Department, the Legal Department, and the Department of International Cooperation. Additionally, he will oversee the ministry’s operations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Domestic and international communications
Cultural, artistic, sports, and tourism research
Additionally, he will assist the minister in managing the following agencies:
The Department of Press
The Department of Broadcasting, Television, and Digital Information
The Department of Basic Information and Foreign Information
The ministry’s office and affiliated public institutions, including Van Hoa Newspaper, Cultural and Arts Magazine, and the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports, and Tourism
He will also be responsible for supervising cultural and media affairs in the northeastern and Red River Delta provinces.
Leadership responsibilities of other deputy ministers
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong will oversee performing arts, cinema, fine arts, photography, exhibitions, literature management, administrative reforms, and national defense-security matters.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy will be in charge of grassroots culture, family affairs, libraries, ethnic culture, commendation programs, and inspections.
Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong will oversee sports, cultural heritage, and museum management, as well as work directly with the General Department of Sports, the Department of Cultural Heritage, and affiliated institutions.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong will focus on tourism, copyright protection, cultural industries, business development, and the socialization of culture, family, sports, and tourism.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam will manage publishing, printing, and distribution, as well as state administration training, science, technology, environmental affairs, and digital transformation. He will also oversee the Department of Publishing, Printing, and Distribution, the Department of Science, Technology, Training, and Environment, and related institutions.
The leadership restructuring aims to streamline responsibilities and enhance efficiency within the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
