The circular will take effect on the date of August 30.
Earlier, the Ministry issued Circular 24 with amended regulations on preference for some subjects of candidates of the university entrance in order to specify the government’s ordinance and decree on preference for the people who well deserve the country..
Accordingly, Vietnam heroic mothers and revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945, the revolutionary activist from 01/01/1945 to August 1945, revolutionary activists who are contaminated with toxic chemicals, were jailed by the enemy and those who well deserved the country will be granted with bonus marks in the university entrance exams.
The regulations immediately stirred up the public for its unrealistic contents because the above people are too old now or many of them passed away.
Deputy Education Minister Bui Van Ga said that the regulations are in line with the government regulations and they ensure the legitimate rights of the people who well deserved the country in college entrance exams, showing social responsibility to these people.
