VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam's largest telecom services provider VNPT said it has incurred large losses due to the decreasing demand of its fixed line telephone services.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Viettel has proposed that the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) increase the charges for foreign calls to Viet Nam from the current rate of 4.1 cents per minute to 6 cents.

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) would strictly control mobile phone and SMS services next year, said deputy minister of Information and Communications Le Nam Thang. 

 VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) would maintain healthy competition in the telecoms market, but would not step in to save struggling firms that were unable to compete.
