They have constituted the largest group of international cruise tourists to Quang Ninh since the beginning of the year.

The foreign tourists, primarily made up of German visitors, are expected to visit popular destinations throughout the locality, including UNESCO - recognised Ha Long Bay and Quang Ninh Museum, as well as taking a city tour to gain a greater understanding of the cultural sites and cuisine in Ha Long City.

The Mein Schiff 5 is scheduled to leave the port and then continue its journey to Hong Kong (China) in the evening of the same day.

On January 22, international cruise ship Silver Spirit also brought more than 250 international arrivals to Quang Ninh province.

Silver Spirit was also the first international cruise ship to arrive in Quang Ninh during the initial days of the year, followed by Mein Schiff 5. In March the locality is set to receive at least four foreign cruise ships.

The arrival of several luxury cruise ships to Quang Ninh bearing thousands of foreign tourists on board represents a positive sign for the local tourism industry as this is an important source of visitors that contributes to reviving the international tourism market within the locality.
