Two mega shows will be held in Hanoi to drive up Vietnam’s water and renewable energy sectors.

The events, including Vietnam’s number one International Water Supply, Sanitation, Industrial Waste-water Treatment and Purification Event (Vietwater 2015) and Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Vietnam 2015 (RE&EE), will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre between November 25 and 27, 2015.

More than 380 leading brand names in the sectors will showcase brand new technologies and clean energy sources, such as solar energy, hydro energy, and bio energy, along with the latest energy efficiency solutions and equipment.

All kinds of pumps, valves, water purifiers, filters, piping systems, control and automation systems will also be presented in Vietwater 2015 from leading names such as Grundfos, Wilo, Swing, TSS Tokyo, JFE Engineering, Tsurumi, Haus, and Yokogawa.

With 11 international pavilions from 35 countries, the event will create a platform for local enterprises to exchange information with foreign enterprises as well as update participants on the innovations which will be applied into business activities.

In addition, the shows bring a B2B networking platform to connect with 10,000 industrial professors, key decision-makers, suppliers, distributors, and buyers from all segments of the water and energy industries.

This is also a good opportunity for participants to gain experience, learn best practices, as well as catch up with market trends and developments from top-notch experts.

Within the framework of the expo, two technical seminars will be held in line with the themes “Vietnam Water Forum: Towards Innovative, Sustainable Technologies & Energy Efficiency in Water & Wastewater industry” at Vietwater 2015 and “Energy Efficiency, New & Renewable Energy -Opportunities and Challenges in Vietnam” at RE&EE Vietnam 2015.

Vietnam’s energy demand was forecast to increase by 400 per cent over the next 20 years.

Meanwhile, the government has ambitious plans to provide water treatment services for 36 million people in urban areas by 2025.

Therefore, Vietnam has great potential for the development of clean technologies, ranging from renewable energy sources to waste treatment and energy efficiency.

Vietwater 2015 and RE&EE Vietnam 2015 will play an important role in supporting the development of water and energy industries.
