The HCMC Center for Disease Control said today, February 14 that among the patients receiving treatment at Cu Chi Field Hospital, no cases were in severe condition.
On February 10, the hospital conducted tested the Covid-19 patients after two days of hospitalization, with many of them testing negative, the local media reported.
Specifically, the 2,004th patient, an employee of the airport, tested positive for Covid-19 on February 7, but on February 13, the patient’s test result came back negative for the virus.
Similarly, the 2,066th case who was found to be diagnosed with Covid-19 on February 7 tested negative on February 13 after a short time of quarantine and treatment.
The center will cooperate with some hospitals treating the Covid-19 patients and many experts to collect data on epidemiology and do research to make a general and thorough assessment of these patients.
As of February 14, HCMC had reported 35 Covid-19 cases linked to the hotspot of Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The patients are employees at the airport and their family members.
