On February 20, a 17-second video filmed in Mang Den (Kon Tum) was widely shared across social media. The clip, showcasing breathtaking mountain landscapes, was so stunning that many viewers suspected it had been digitally altered.

According to sources, the video was originally filmed in November 2024. A few days ago, a female tourist shared it on her personal page as a keepsake, only to be met with an overwhelming response - 2 million views and tens of thousands of interactions.

The video was captured by Le Minh, a tour guide in Mang Den. He revealed that the location featured in the video is a café situated atop the Mang Den Pass.

From this vantage point, visitors can admire the poetic yet majestic mountainous landscape, soaking in the fresh, cool air. The spot is also a prime location for cloud-hunting, attracting many travelers.

On weekdays, the café remains relatively quiet, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the serene and peaceful atmosphere.

Le Minh explained that the scenery from the café shifts with the seasons and times of the day. Travelers looking to visit can easily locate the café by taking National Highway 24 from Mang Den town toward Kon Tum city. The café is conveniently located along the roadside, just 4 km from the town center.

Along the way, visitors can also stop by other picturesque spots, including the scenic pine forest at Mang Den’s entrance, Lo 3 waterfalls, and a horse farm.

"February in Mang Den is typically chilly and drizzly. The best time to visit is between March and June, when cloud-hunting is easier, and the weather is pleasantly cool. From May onward, visitors can also witness the golden rice harvest," Minh added.

To capture a 17-second video of such clarity and beauty, travelers need to visit on a bright, sunny day when the sky is clear, allowing the mountain ranges to appear in full detail.

Mang Den is a small highland town in Kon Plong district, approximately 60 km from Kon Tum city. Often referred to as the "Little Da Lat," it boasts impressive natural scenery, including vast pine forests, pristine jungles, lakes, waterfalls, and a refreshing climate.

In recent years, Mang Den has emerged as a popular travel destination. During peak holiday seasons, such as April 30, September 2, New Year's, and the Lunar New Year, accommodations in town are fully booked. However, for those traveling during off-peak periods, Mang Den remains a peaceful and rustic haven, offering plenty of hidden gems for visitors to explore.
