VietNamNet Bridge – A man wearing a lot of gold jewelry attracted shoppers at the Hanoi Vincom shopping mall on March 17. Photos of this man have been shared at a dizzying speed on social networks.

Netizens tried to search for information about the man who was identified as Nguyen Xuan Tung, 44, from Tuyen Quang Province.

“I think that wearing gold jewelry would bring good luck and fortune so I usually wear a lot of gold jewelry whenever I go out,” Tung said.

"The gold on my body cannot be counted by taels but by kilos. Each set of jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, rings ... weighs about 2kg. The total value for such a set, including gems, is approximately VND5 billion ($250,000)”, he added.

Tung said he has three sets of jewelry and was about to have the fourth set, which is more valuable than the current ones.

The man said whenever he wore the jewelry, he was escorted by two body guards.

Tung is a famous businessman in Tuyen Quang where runs two big restaurants and a taxi firm. He also owns 15 villas in the city.
