VietNamNet Bridge - Huynh Phuoc Tinh, 31, fled after being attacked by bees, but then tripped and fell and was stung by over 100 bees.

On August 13, Nguyen Dang Huong, the chair of Tam Xuan 2 commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province said the victim of wasps was Huynh Phuoc Tinh, from Thach Kieu village. Kieu died after five days of treatment at the hospital.

Previously, on August 8, on the way home from the death anniversary held at his neighbor’s home, Tinh accidentally hit a wasp nest on a lemon tree and was chased by the bees. Tinh fled but he stumbled on the road and was attacked by the bees.

About 20 minutes later, Tinh was discovered lying motionless in his backyard at his home. His entire body was swollen with more than 100 stings.

The man was immediately taken to the General Hospital of Quang Nam Province. He died because of severe injuries.
