During his visit to the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment on March 4, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was introduced to Earable Neuroscience's FRENZ Brainband smart device.

Professor Tam Vu, Vietnamese-American founder of Earable Neuroscience, spoke with the Prime Minister about the product's features that help millions of people improve their sleep quality.

The product has helped more than 1,000 people fall asleep 57% faster on average (19 minutes), while AI/ML algorithms are constantly being improved to understand users, said Prof. Tam Vu.

During the visit to NIC, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the importance of an innovation ecosystem with deep technologies for Vietnam’s growth strategy. He directed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning and Investment to establish an innovation support fund to gather wisdom and spread the benefits of high-tech science and technology projects.

In February 2022, returning from the US to Vietnam after completing the last 2 rounds of fundraising with a total amount of US$ 8.2 million from leading investors such as Founders Fund and Smilegate Investment, Professor Tam Vu has suspended his job indefinitely at Oxford University to focus all his efforts on Earable’s smart devices for sleep and brain care.
