This comes after Pageanthology revealed its Post-Arrival Top 12, with Mai Phuong being ranked first in the list, surpassing several strong rivals to rank at the top.
The Top 5 of the Pageanthology’s list included contestants from England, Spain, Turkey, and Thailand.
Previously, Mai Phuong had also been named among the Top 25 in the Head To Head Challenge alongside other representatives in Asian region, including those from Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and host nation India.
However, Phuong could not make the Top 5 of the category. The 71st Miss World pageant is taking place in New Delhi and Mumbai, with the prestigious event attracting around 130 contestants. The grand finale is due to be held on March 9 in Mumbai.
Phuong, 23, stands at 1.70 metres tall and measures 82-63-92 cm. She currently works as an emcee, appearing on numerous television programmes.
In recent years, local representatives have gained several prizes at the Miss World pageant. Indeed, Luong Thuy Linh reached the Top 12 in 2019 and Do Thi Ha was placed among the Top 13 finalists in 2021.
