Vietnamese Ly Hoang Nam and Chinese Sun Fajing came from behind to defeat Purcell Rhett from England and Stevenson Kelsey from Canada 23-6, 6-2, 13-11 in the quarter-finals of the China F12 Men’s Futures tennis tournament, held yesterday in Shenzhen City.

Nam and Sun Fajing enters second round of the China F12 Men’s Futures. 

The No 3 seed will next play Darren Polkinghorne of Australia and Wu Tung-lin of Chinese Taipei in the final four rounds. Yesterday, Polkinghorne and Wu defeated Hung Jui-chen and Yu Cheng-yu of Chinese Taipei 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.

The other semi-final match will see Yi Chu-huan of Chinese Taipei and  Zhong Su Hao of China vs No 4 pair Alcantara Francis Casey of the Philippines and Singh Karunuday of India.

In today’s action during the singles event, Nam, No 6 seed, will play Wang Aoran of the hosts in the second round match.
