The opening of this year’s Luala concert series was held on November 15, bringing music to the streets with performances of talented artists from at home and abroad.

Different from previous concerts in which organisers blended the programme with voices of famous pop singers, this year’s concert focuses solely on classical music by bringing it back to its original place.
The concert featured instrumentalists from the Hanoi Chamber Orchestra, who performed under the baton of conductor Nguyen Khac Thanh.
Pianist Boomi Jang from the Republic of Korea brought to the concert a solo performance piano concerto No.2 by Ludwig van Beethoven
The audiences were also invited to enjoy waltz music and concertos by J. Strauss, Haydn and Mozart.
Soprano Truong Hoang An mesmerised classical enthusiasts with a performance of a Puccini opera aria.
The outdoor free Luala concert series was first launched in 2012 with an aim to bring classical and chamber music to a wider audience. |
