The incident happened at around 6:30 pm on Thursday at Coc Sau Coal Joint Stock Company in Cam Pha Town. At that time, a group of workers were concentrating on working with excavators at the coal mine. The landslide suddenly happened.

As a result, two died on the spot while six others were injured and another remains missing.

The company has arranged rescue forces to search for the missing worker.

The soil and stone covered two excavators and two trucks at the scene.

In August and November, two coal mine collapses occurred at Vang Danh Coal JS Company in Quang Ninh’s Uong Bi City, leaving five dead.
