With beautiful scenery and diverse terrain from hills and caves to rivers and lakes, Lan Ty Valley has become an attractive destination for tourists. 

Here, visitors can enjoy a variety of physical activities such as swimming, abseiling (rope-riding from the cliff), SUP rowing, and trekking.

Each season, Lan Ty Valley has its own beauty. In summer, this place is flooded with water, becoming a large, clear blue lake. In winter, the water in the lake gradually recedes, revealing a wide valley with a long stretch of green grass.

Lan Ty Valley offers a wide range of activities, from rock climbing and abseiling to SUP rowing, swimming, trekking, and cave exploration. 

Tran Nhat Hoang, a young man from Lang Son, experienced the valley for the first time at the beginning of summer. The weather was fresh and cool, ideal for outdoor activities.

Hoang had the opportunity to participate in exciting activities such as climbing Thung Mountain, abseiling, SUP rowing, swimming, trekking, cave exploration, and camping in the old forest. One of his favorite activities was abseiling at Thung Mountain.

Thung Mountain, also known as Mat Than Mountain, is a special mountain with a large hole through two sides, resembling a giant "eye" looking down at the Huu Lung forest. It is a popular spot for adventure enthusiasts.

Hoang, who has previous experience in parachute training and maintains a habit of jogging and gym workouts, found the physically demanding activities exhilarating. He took a training course to learn the necessary skills for ziplining and abseiling.

To reach the ziplining position at the top of the mountain, 500 meters above sea level, Hoang and his team had to trek and climb a long distance with vertical slopes. They then abseiled from the top of the mountain down to the eye socket, about 40 meters below.

Despite the physical demands, Hoang felt all the fatigue disappear after conquering the high cliff. "The journey to the swinging position is quite difficult, but the reward is worth it. Overcoming my own limits to conquer the height and admire the beautiful panorama of the valley below is an unforgettable experience," Hoang said.

For a safe and enjoyable trip to Lan Ty Valley, Hoang recommends booking tours with reputable and professional units. Throughout their journey, he and his team were closely followed and supported by safety experts.

Hoang suggests that the ideal schedule for experiencing Lan Ty Valley is two days and one night. When participating in abseiling activities, tourists always swing with two main ropes to ensure safety: one rope controlled by the tourist, and the other by the safety assistant.

Visitors should fully equip themselves with necessary personal items for adventurous activities, such as specialized climbing shoes, clothes (preferably long-sleeved T-shirts and quick-drying fabric pants), swimsuits, high socks, backpacks with support belts, sunscreen, and medicine.

"Only bring necessary items to reduce weight, making it easier to move throughout the journey. Also, pay attention to weather conditions and terrain for the best preparation," Hoang emphasized.

Lan Ty Valley offers attractions throughout the year. From February to April, visitors can admire blooming wildflowers. From May to August, the valley is ideal for water activities, with a large, clear blue lake. During the dry season from September to November, it becomes an ideal picnic destination with beautiful golden rice fields.

In addition to activities like mountain climbing, ziplining, camping, cave exploration, SUP rowing, and swimming, visitors can explore the culture and daily life of ethnic minorities at Huu Lien Community Ecological Village or visit Khe Dau Waterfall.

Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy delicious dishes grown and produced by ethnic minorities, reflecting the local culinary culture. These include stream fish, smoked buffalo meat, and various preparations of wild boar meat.
