The atmosphere at Mexico City International Airport was electric as Miss Universe contestants from around the world arrived for the 2024 competition. Each contestant, beaming with pride, brought a hint of national charm in their attire, accompanied by suitcases filled with essentials for three intense weeks in the world's most prestigious beauty contest.

At the arrival area, the sight of mini crowns and sashes with country names allowed contestants to recognize each other immediately, resulting in joyful greetings, hugs, and endless selfies shared on social media. The excitement quickly turned the terminal into a gathering place for beauty, grace, and camaraderie.

Representing Vietnam, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen also arrived, wearing an elegant ao dai, making a memorable first impression. Ky Duyen shared her arrival on social media, officially announcing her entry into the competition.

Upon arrival, contestants were escorted to the luxurious InterContinental Presidente Hotel, which will serve as their shared residence during the competition. Here, 130 contestants from various countries and territories will prepare for several challenging rounds that showcase their talents, intelligence, and beauty.

Many contestants took to social media as soon as they checked in, some showing off views from their rooms overlooking beautiful Mexico City, while others posted pictures of special welcome gifts prepared by the organizers.

This year’s Miss Universe competition marks a milestone with no age limits and embraces greater diversity among contestants. With a field of 130 competitors, this year promises to be a memorable celebration of global beauty and talent, culminating in the grand finale on November 16, when reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua will crown her successor.

The Vietnamese representative, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, has arrived in Mexico after a long flight. She chose an elegant Ao Dai for her first meeting in the host country to make a lasting impression.

Ky Duyen announced on her personal page that she has officially joined the competition after the long flight.
