In Vietnam, over the next 3 years, only K + will have the right to broadcast all games on Sunday, the early matches on Saturday at 18h45 or 19h45 (Vietnam time), and exclusive broadcasting of any game on Saturday when there is no early match. It means that the best matches of the EPL will only be broadcast on the K + channels.

In addition to the EPL, K + will continue to broadcast other leading football leagues in the world like Series A, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Champions League ... in the 2013-2014 season.

VSTV CEO Cao Van Liet said: "VSTV commits to maintain long-term broadcast of the EPL on K +. We not only have the right to broadcast the Sunday games as the last three seasons, but also the early games on Saturday."

Liet said K + is willing to cooperate with other broadcasters to serve fans. Currently, VSTV partners with FPT, Viettel and VTVcab in broadcasting the EPL in Vietnam. "K + is ready to cooperate with other paid TV channels on the principle of how to manage the number of subscribers," he said.

According to statistics, the number of EPL games that are only available on K + accounts for 30 percent of the total games of the EPL.

In relation to the cost of EPL exclusive pack, VSTV’s representative refused to disclose but he said that K + added the cost to its business plan and identified it as one of the most important investments of the firm.

According to financial reports, VSTV has incurred losses. However, company leaders see this as a very normal thing for businesses operating in the field of television. “To break even, we'll have to increase the number of subscribers in the coming years. We need a certain time to be profitable," said VSTV’s Deputy General Director Jacques Aymar.

In Vietnam, only K + channels do not broadcast ads, though this is the largest source of revenue of TV channels. "We will try to keep our channels clean, not to upset the audience when the programs are interrupted," said Liet.
