Vinh posted on his facebook several photos of Vietnamese flags on stands of the Sapporo Dome Stadium on November 3, with the status: "I'm thrilled to see these images in yesterday's game. Thanks for the Japanese fans who have always loved and supported me in any circumstances."

In this game, Vinh was allowed to join his teammates from the 81st minute but the Vietnamese strikers showed his fighting spirit and determination although he had just recovered from injury. His team defeated JEF United for 1-0.

Vinh’s contract with Consadole Sapporo FC will end this month. Vinh will return to Vietnam to join Song Lam Nghe An.
