On December 13, Hoang Thi Thanh Nhung, Deputy Chairwoman of the Dong Hoi City People’s Committee, confirmed that an administrative penalty was issued against T.T.M.H. (born 1974, residing in Nam Ly Ward) for her actions against her husband, N.T.S., who lives at the same address.

The violation, classified as an act of insulting a family member’s honor and dignity, occurred on November 26 at the couple's residence.

Deputy Chairwoman Nhung stated that Nam Ly Ward Police documented and handled the incident before recommending the Dong Hoi City People’s Committee issue the penalty decision.

The fine was imposed under Decree 144/2021 by the Government, which outlines administrative penalties for violations in security, order, public safety, social evils prevention, fire prevention and rescue, and family violence prevention.

According to the decision, H. was fined 7.5 million VND. Since S. did not request a public apology, H. was not required to take additional corrective measures.
