Chinese parasol tree is known as the royal flower associated with the image of the Nguyen dynasty in Hue. An amateur photographer Le Dinh Hoang captured beautiful moments when the trees bloomed in the imperial citadel. The photos were taken by Hoang within a week and in the early morning.

In the past, Chinese parasol tree was a precious plant that was only grown in the Imperial Citadel and the mausoleums of the Nguyen Dynasty kings.
