On the early Friday morning, many local people brought their offerings to the festival to express their deep gratitude to the people who founded the vegetable village.

Many farmers wore Ao Dai to go around vegetable fields to wish for the high productivity in the new year. 

Lots of visitors, including foreigners, joined the event 

The festival also had a vegetable growing competition among teams. Each team saw the participation of at least one foreigner. 

International tourists had a chance to work as farmers with different steps such as watering, picking and growing vegetables.

Katja Janssen from Germany said she was really happy to attend the festival and could experience to be a farmer, which was a very nice memory for her during the trip in Vietnam.
