The event is to be co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the US Embassy in Vietnam, the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and the US-ASEAN Business Council.
The conference aims to update trade and investment policies of both Vietnam and the United States amid the global economic recession, a general trend of shifting global supply chains, and geopolitical instability, especially following the two countries upgrading their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
Therefore, the event is expected to provide businesses with then latest information in order to ensure that they can be proactive in effectively devising their business plan over the long term.
The forum will be chaired by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai and is also set to provide an ideal venue in which firms from both sides can seek business co-operation opportunities through trade exchange events, thereby accelerating trade and investment ties between the two nations in the future.
The Vietnam - US Trade Forum is an annual event that has been held continuously since 2018. Every year, the function attracts between 300 and 400 live participants, as well as tens of thousands of online viewers.
