The HCM City Department of Natural Resources and Environment has issued an official dispatch on the list of projects on land acquisition and the use of land for rice cultivation for other purposes in 2022 to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the dispatch, the agency asks for the city government's approval of a list of 43 projects that need land acquisition in 2022 with a total area of about 330 hectares.
Among them are a number of projects with large area of land acquisition such as the urban embellishment, improvement of living conditions for households on and along the southern bank of Doi canal in District 8 (44 hectares);
The construction of passenger terminal T3 in Tan Son Nhat airport (16 hectares); a road connecting Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa and a resettlement area (15 hectares) in Tan Binh district;
The project to dredge the Dia canal - Bat canal - Phu Xuan river (50 hectares), and Tom canal (60 hectares) in Nha Be district;
and the projects to build An Phu intersection (29 hectares) and the ring road 2, section from Hanoi Highway to Pham Van Dong in Thu Duc city (38 hectares).
The local People’s Committee will submit the dispatch to the municipal People’s Council for approval at its meeting at the end of this year.
