VietNamNet Bridge – According to the Military Service Council of HCM City, 2,050 young men in 12 districts will be admitted to the army on February 19.

Tomorrow the rookie delivery ceremony will take place simultaneously in 12 districts in the city. Accordingly, 2,050 male citizens of the Districts 3, 5, 9, 12, Tan Binh, Thu Duc, Tan Phu, Go Vap, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi and Can Gio will join the units of the Ministry of Defense, the Military Zone 7, the Ho Chi Minh City High Command, the HCM City Police Agency and the HCM City Fire-fighting Police Department.

In addition, 190 young men of the Districts 3, 9, Tan Phu and Go Vap will be admitted to the 957 Brigade of the 4th Naval Zone.

The Gia Dinh Regiment under the HCM City High Command is tasked to receive and train 105 rookies from the southern and central provinces of Binh Duong, Tay Ninh and Binh Thuan.

According to the HCM City Military Service Council, the health and the qualification of the rookies this year are better than the previous years, with 538 people who have university, college and vocational school degrees.

On February 15, 2,000 young men in Hanoi also joined the army.
