Situated on Nghi Tam street in Tay Ho district of Hanoi, Quang Ba Flower Market is a large wholesale market that specialises in selling flowers to local people throughout the capital. With Tet approaching, the flower market can be found bustling with trade as early as 2am each morning.

The market provides wholesale and retail flowers to both traders and buyers. Once at the market, buyers are able to choose from a wide variety of flowers such as chrysanthemum and gerbera.

Due to the festive season the price of flowers this weekend has increased in comparison to weekdays. Each bunch of roses containing 100 flowers has increased in price from VND150,000 to VND180,000

This year due to the favourable weather conditions, the quantity of imported flowers has double in comparison to 2019

 Sunflowers are proving to be particularly popular among buyers at the market this year.

Different types of flowers including velvet roses, aromatic roses, and pink roses are being imported in large quantities this year to meet the demands of consumers

 Small traders are busy preparing to put their flowers on display at kiosks to serve the shopping needs of customers.
