Early this morning (April 5), a violent incident occurred at Bamboo Garden Apartment Complex, located in Sai Son Commune, Quoc Oai District, Hanoi, involving a man suspected to be under the influence of drugs who attacked several people with a weapon, resulting in the death of a woman.

Initial reports indicate that the incident took place around 5:00 a.m. at a unit in Building CT9A of the Bamboo Garden complex. A female victim was fatally attacked, and several others were injured.

According to local residents, a young man, believed to be high on drugs, was seen wielding a weapon and violently assaulting people in the building. The attack led to one woman being killed and others sustaining injuries.

Upon receiving emergency calls, law enforcement officers and local residents quickly responded, restrained the suspect, and took him into custody.

Speaking to VietNamNet, a representative of the Sai Son Commune People’s Committee confirmed the incident and stated that the police are actively investigating the case.

An official from the Quoc Oai District People’s Committee added that the identities of the suspect and victim have not yet been released due to the ongoing investigation.
