The agency will be headquartered at 47 Hang Dau Street, Hoan Kiem District.
The service is expected to provide tourists with consultancy for destinations, tours, accommodation and other tourism services.
They will also receive tourists’ complaints and help settle their problems via hotlines, e-mail or social networking sites.
To Van Dong, Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, “This service will be linked to tourist booths citywide. We’ll cooperate closely with police in Hoan Kiem District to ensure security and a welcoming environment as well as prevent illegal soliciting and price gouging.”
He noted that, this model would be piloted in Hoan Kiem District before being widely applied in more places in the capital.
