The show, entitled Suyt (Shhh…), comprises six parts, which are Nha Ve Sinh (Toilet), Than Chet (The Death), Dam Tang (Funeral), Chac Ai Do Se Ve (Because I Miss You), Di Cu (Migration) and Bao Thai (Foetus).
"An old man listens daily to stories on the radio and sees himself as the main character in those stories. That is the story in Suyt," Tung said.
In the one-hour show, Tung combines the style of the father of modern mime and French artist Marcel Marceau with new movements such as taking of photos with a mobile phone.
The mime acts are a fabulous combination of comic and tragic elements, reflecting the reality of modern life.
Nha Ve Sinh is a humorous story, depicting dependence on high technology such as smartphones by the youth.
The highlight of the show will be Di Cu.
Tung saw the picture of a drowned Syrian boy refugee on the Internet and was shocked. He has composed the piece to pray for the unfortunate child.
Dam Tang (Funeral) will be unique because it is characterised by typical Vietnamese gestures of people respecting the dead at funerals.
"Suyt will be light-hearted and more relaxing to the audience that watched my first show, The Return of Mime, early 2015," Tung said. "The greatest challenge for me was to make Suyt different from The Return of Mime."
Tung is deputy head of the Experimental Troupe at the Viet Nam Youth Theatre. He is the only active mime artist in Viet Nam.
The Return of Mime was considered to be one of the highlights of the art scene in Ha Noi and HCM City in 2015.
Tung represented Viet Nam by performing The Return of Mime at the Chuncheon International Mime Festival 2015 in South Korea last May.
The Return of Mime was performed in HCM City in the summer of 2015.
Tung also took part in the International Theatre Festival Okinawa for Young Audience in Japan in July 2015.
Suyt will be performed on January 17 and 31 at 54-56 Nguyen Khuyen Street, Ha Noi.
