Hanoi will celebrate the Lunar New Year of 2025 with 30 firework displays spread across all districts and towns in the capital. The festivities include 10 high-altitude and 21 low-altitude firework shows, creating a vibrant start to the Year of the Snake.

The displays, organized by the Hanoi People's Committee, will last for 15 minutes, starting at midnight (12:00 am) and ending at 12:15 am on January 29, 2025.

High-altitude firework locations

The 10 high-altitude displays, combined with low-altitude fireworks, will take place at prominent locations:

Hoan Kiem District: Two shows, one in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and another at the Hanoi Post Office.

Tay Ho District: Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, near the Tay Ho District People's Committee.

Nam Tu Liem District: F1 racetrack area in Phu Do Ward.

Hai Ba Trung District: Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward.

Ha Dong District: Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward.

Son Tay Town: Ancient Citadel of Son Tay.

Thanh Tri District: Project site of Ho Dieu Hoa, Tam Hiep Commune.

Dong Anh District: Dong Anh Sports Center.

Bac Tu Liem District: Peace Park, Xuan Dinh Ward.

Low-altitude firework locations

The 21 low-altitude displays will occur at various sites across the city, including:

Ba Dinh District: Southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward.

Hoang Mai District: Den Lu Lake Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward.

Long Bien District: Park 2, Viet Hung Ward.

Dong Da District: Xa Dan Lake, Nam Dong Ward.

Cau Giay District: Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward.

Thanh Xuan District: Thanh Xuan Park, Nhan Chinh Ward.

Gia Lam District: No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy Town.

Me Linh District: Rooftop of the fifth floor of the district's meeting hall.

Ba Vi District: Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town.

Dan Phuong District: Stand B, Dan Phuong District Stadium, Phung Town.

The high-altitude displays will feature 6,000 fireworks, with 600 shells per site. Low-altitude displays will include 3,420 sets, with each site using 120 sets for low-altitude shows and 90 sets for combined displays.

With fireworks illuminating the skies across the city, residents and visitors will have ample opportunities to celebrate and welcome the Lunar New Year in a festive and vibrant atmosphere.
