The Hanoi People's Committee has recently approved the allocation of 70,574.2 square meters of land in the Ngoc Thuy and Thuong Thanh wards of Long Bien District for the construction of a new park and lake.

The designated land area stretches from Ngoc Thuy dyke to the new Thuong Thanh urban area. The project plan, developed by Tay Ho Architecture Joint Stock Company, has been confirmed by the Department of Planning and Architecture.

The land is allocated without requiring land use fees and will not be subject to land use rights auctions or tendering procedures for selecting investors to implement the project.

In recent years, Long Bien District has allocated significant land resources for park development. Notably, the Long Bien Park and Ngoc Thuy Park, which have been operational since 2023, are modern public facilities that greatly enhance the quality of life for local residents.
