VietNamNet Bridge - By 2030, the inlying area of Hanoi will have 60 parks, including 18 new parks, according to the city’s planning on parks to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Hoa Binh, the most modern park in the city at present, located on Pham Van Dong road, Tu Liem district, Hanoi is always quiet.
By that year, the 42 current parks and flower gardens will be also renovated, upgraded and Hanoi will have seven themed parks.
Under the plan, Hanoi will be divided into two major areas, the historic inlying area, which is bordered by the Red River Dike and the Ring Road 2, including the districts of Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Dong D , Hai Ba Trung and part of the Tay Ho district.
In this historic inner-city area, in addition to upgrading and renovating the existing parks, the city will plant more trees in the old apartments.
The expanded inlying area lies to the west of the historic inner area, bordered by the ring road 2, the Red River and Nhue River dikes, and the ring road 3, including the districts of Cau Giay, Thanh Xuan, Hoang Mai and part of Tay Ho, Ha Dong, Thanh Tri and Tu Liem districts. This area will form the 3 focal points – consisting of the West Lake and its vicinity, My Dinh area and Yen So.
In the core urban area, all roads will have trees along and many streets like Nguyen Du, Lo Duc, Phan Dinh Phung will become special with specific trees.
For the projects to renovate old apartments with a total area of 415 hectares, the area of land for planting trees must be about 40 hectares.
