VietNamNet Bridge - Hanoi officials have asked relevant bodies to decorate the streets by Khue Van Cac symbols during the lunar New Year (Tet holiday).

During the Lunar New Year, the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ly Thai To monument, parks and the main roads of Hanoi will be decorated with flowers, ornamental plants, peaches and lamps.

The route from Noi Bai to Phap Van, overpasses, bridges, Kim Lien tunnel will be illuminated with LED technology. The grass will be lightened by mushroom lamps.

The Huc Bridge will be decorated with 1,000 LEDs on the banisters. Also, Hanoi will use 9 new horizontal frames in the shapes of sunflowers, stars, confetti, stars, cherry, roses, gerberas, bronze drum, crane to decorated streets during Tet.

Chairman of Ha Noi--Nguyen The Thao, told relevant agencies to use modern lighting systems and typical symbols like Khue Van Cac an bronze drums to decorate the streets. In the last session of the National Assembly last November, Khue Van Cac was chosen by deputies as the symbol of Hanoi.

As being directed by the city’s Chairman, the local environmental management will have to ensure clean streets during the lunar New Year.
