VietNamNet Bridge – This year’s Hanoi Sound Stuff Festival will take place at eight city venues from Friday, March 29 to April 13.

The event themed Am thanh va hinh anh (Sound and images) features performances by both local and international artists and seminars on electronic and experimental music.

On April 12 artists from Japan, the U.K, Austria, Sweden and Vietnam converge on Vietnam National Museum of History at 1 Pham Ngu Lao Street from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to raise funds for handicapped children.

Twenty-four hours later DJs from Germany, Switzerland, Israel and Vietnam perform at Chu Van An High-school’s stadium at 10 Thuy Khue Street, Tay Ho District at 6 p.m. Especially, Hanoi Doclab and Hanoi Future Shorts will debut their latest short movies.

Additionally, the festival offers advance training courses by international artists for local composers and students who are interested in electronic music.

Tickets are freely distributed at the British Council at 20 Thuy Khue Street, Tay Ho District; Goethe Institute, 56-58 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District and The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam at 27 Quang Trung Street.
