The area displaying the national treasures was particularly popular, with crowds gathering around the MiG-21 fighter jet with serial number 5121 and the SA-75 DVINA (SAM-2) missile system. This very aircraft was piloted by Lieutenant General Pham Tuan, a Hero of the People’s Armed Forces, who used it to shoot down a B-52 bomber on the night of December 27, 1972.
