The highest reported salary in Hanoi was nearly 150 million VND (approximately $6,000 per month), paid by a foreign-invested (FDI) enterprise to an employee, according to the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
In January 2025, employment in Hanoi increased, with 19,364 workers securing jobs, marking a 24.8% rise compared to the same period in 2024.
Among them, 6,889 workers benefited from 515 billion VND ($20.6 million) in loans from Hanoi's budget through the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.
