Policemen in Hanoi are struggling to deal with serious traffic congestion in the run-up to the Tet Lunar New Year Holiday.

At 5:30 a.m. on February 6 (December 27), Captain Dinh Van Dat and Captain Nguyen Ngoc Tu and officers of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 (Hanoi Traffic Police Department) received professional equipment to start their shift.

Hanoi traffic police have to be on duty earlier than usual. According to Captain Dinh Van Dat, as Tet is approaching, the volume of vehicles increases and people are on the road earlier.
