A shocking video has emerged on social media showing a limousine speeding along Thang Long Boulevard in Hanoi with a person sitting on its hood.

Video footage sparks safety concerns

The video, recorded on the morning of March 8, captures the white limousine moving at high speed along the service road of Thang Long Boulevard, Me Tri Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.

The passenger, whose identity remains unknown, is seen gripping the windshield wipers with both hands while the car continues moving over a significant distance.

The video was taken by a witness driving in the same direction, who shared it online, expressing shock at the reckless nature of the act.

Public outrage over dangerous stunt

The clip has sparked widespread criticism, with many viewers condemning the driver's blatant disregard for traffic safety and human life.

Nguyen Nhat Anh, a resident of Ha Dong District, expressed concern: "Regardless of whether this was due to a personal dispute, this act is incredibly dangerous. The person on the hood could have easily fallen onto the road and been run over, leading to serious injuries or even death."

Huyen Anh, from Bac Tu Liem District, also voiced her frustration, calling for severe penalties: "This kind of reckless driving must be punished to deter others from endangering lives on the road."

Police launch investigation

A representative from Hanoi Traffic Police Team No. 6 (under the Hanoi Traffic Police Department) confirmed that officers have been deployed to investigate the incident.

The authorities are working to identify the driver and the individual involved, and will summon them for questioning.

Further updates on the case are expected as the investigation progresses.
