Khuat Duy Tien street, which opened in 2001, runs 1.7 kilometres from Tran Duy Hung to the Nguyen Trai intersection. The street is seven-metres wide and suffers serious traffic jams during rush hours.
Two thirds of the treeline five-metre-wide pavement on Tran Duy Hung Street has been cleared to give more space for vehicles. The street is subject to traffic jams due to an on-going underground tunnel project at Trung Hoa Bridge.
