This is the first time the temperature in Hanoi fell down to 9
degrees C since the beginning of winter. Early in the morning, everyone
on the street was sealed with mask and wore thick coats.
In many places in the northern region, the temperature decreased to
several degrees, such as Sapa (Lao Cai) with 3 degrees C, Lang Son 5
degrees C. The temperature in almost all the northern plain was below 10
degrees C.
At 7am, many people stood huddled waiting for the bus.
Under the provisions of the Hanoi Department of Education and
Training, when the temperature is below 10 degrees C, all primary
students are allowed to stay at home. Today all primary schools closed.
