Instead of flying to Vietnam and then traveling to Ha Long Bay by various means, there's now a more unique and romantic way to reach this UNESCO World Natural Heritage site - via the Ha Long International Cruise Port.

Themed "Connecting heritage, leading the way to shine", the festival will feature a grand opening ceremony, DJ performances, and a high-altitude fireworks display.

About 1,700 tourists, 85% of whom are Japanese, aboard a chartered cruise ship are scheduled to visit Ha Long city in the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 30.
