Le Diep Kieu Trang. Ride-hailing firm Go-Viet has announced a leadership change, with Le Diep Kieu Trang resigning as chief executive officer of the firm from October 11 - PHOTO: GO-VIET

This is the second time within six months that Go-Viet has had to replace its chief executive officer.

Go-Viet noted that after five months on the job, Trang, also known as Christy Le, decided to leave the job for personal reasons.

“We tried to reach an agreement but were unsuccessful,” Go-Viet stated.

With its current managing staff members and international experts, Go-Viet is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of the Vietnamese market, the firm said.

Go-Viet has yet to reveal the name of Trang’s replacement.

On the Vietnamese market, Go-Viet offers three services: Go-Bike, Go-Send and Go-Food.

Earlier in April, Trang, former country director of Facebook Vietnam, was chosen to be the general director of Go-Viet, a unit of Indonesian firm Go-Jek. The appointment was part of the firm’s plan to enhance the efficiency of its operations.

Previously, on March 20 last year, Trang was chosen as the director of Facebook and was put in charge of Facebook’s business development in Vietnam. She resigned from that position last December.
